Amazing views and idyllic setting

We stayed for a week in the Cloud 9 retreat. The property is well-maintained and had everything we needed with 3 young children (including 2 pack and plays!). The kids loved feeding the chickens and visiting the other farm animals. The view from the deck is awesome. It's also a short drive to attractions (check out the Western NC nature center), stores, and Asheville.

Sublime!

This house way exceeded my expectations -- and the views of the mountains, sunrises and sunsets are stunning through the huge windows. The house was comfortable for our 8 adults and 3 children, with great circulation and a beautiful, additional dining room that was comfortably warm even in late November. The house was charming and the so was the farm, with lovely chickens, cows, and trails to explore. I enjoyed this place so much and plan to be back next year.

Over exceeded our expectations

More than words can express....

We stayed in the Cloud 9 Relaxation House and the only complaint would be that the pictures were not updated. EVERY part of this house was perfect and made our journey from TX to here so comfortable and true to it's name "relaxed". The view from the newly renovated porch took the breath of this TX girl away and the updated kitchen had every thing we could ever need to cook some wonderful meals and enjoy family time overlooking the Blue Ride Mtns. The staff all the way from the owner to the maintenance crew gave 100,000% to ensure you enjoyed the farm as much as they did. Be prepared to bring your toothbrush and your clothing because they have all the things (quality things) you could ever need. We WILL be back in a few months but this time with my husband and kids and not just a girls trip with my mom, sisters and aunts. 5 out 5 stars review for sure.

Done right

We celebrated our 50th wedding Anniversary with 4 days at the Heavenly Hideaway Cabin....Peaceful and secluded, yet with easy access nestled in the woods. This nicely decorated and modern top-notch cabin will feel just like home. We enjoyed the quiet and cool evenings. Short drive to Biltmore Estate, which we last visited 36 years ago. Close to Asheville, and Chimney Rock, Lake Lure. Cloud 9 has a fishing pond and fresh produce & eggs available to guests. The cabin has wi-fi and satellite TV, a real comfy king-sized bed, a hot tub on the deck and everything to make your stay enjoyable. Hike the trails or read and relax on the back porch or use the cabin as your home base for visiting Asheville and surrounding attractions. Equipped kitchen and laundry and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Janet, the proprietor, is a beekeeper, so ask about her honey and fresh seasonal produce.
We stayed 4 nights, but would have liked to stay longer.

Best wedding ever

The farm was a magical place to have my daughters wedding. The vows exchanged among the trees was very special. The lawn where we set up our very large tent was perfect by the lake side and the adorable gazebo. Everything was awesome and just right for my daughter and her now husband. I'll always love Cloud Nine Farm.

A peaceful retreat and more

Cloud Nine is a beautiful piece of property that is tucked in the mountains that surround and encompass Fairview. There are a few cozy cabins/cottages/homes for rent and relaxation, as well as a blueberry patch and a natural setting for a wedding. The owner is delightful. She and her staff spends time making sure that folks have what they need to enjoy their time. Make sure you buy a jar of home-made honey, like we did; it was very delicious and makes a great souvenir.

Fantastic stay in Silver Lining Cabin

My husband and I and our little dog stayed 12 nights this May in Silver Lining Cabin on Janet's wonderful farm. The cabin is delightful! It's super clean and has everything needed for an extremely pampered stay. Janet has even thought to put night lights throughout the cabin for those of us with aging eyes !
She is a wonderful host - friendly, respectful and very generous supplying and then resupplying us with her delicious fresh hens' eggs, which we had for breakfast every day (!) to fortify us for all the hiking we did in the area. The outdoor hot tub was perfect for soothing our aching muscles after our long days out, and it was just so peaceful to relax on the tree tops level deck with a glass of wine in the evening watching the hummingbirds, cardinals, finches etc flitting about.
We loved walking round Cloud 9 Farm - straight out of the front door, through the gate and the farm and it's trails are right there !
We were lucky to visit when a calf was born, a beautiful glossy shimmering little black bull, and I was honored to be asked to name him (Ozzy). Since our return Janet has even sent us a recent photo of him as he grows !
In conclusion - staying in Silver Lining Cabin was a joy ! It was our first visit to the Asheville area, and we hope it won't be our last, and we will definitely rebook to stay in one of Janet's properties on Cloud 9 Farm when we do return.
