Here’s What Makes Cloud 9 Farm Special
When you picture your wedding day, what do you see?
Maybe it’s exchanging vows beneath the trees in a private elopement. Maybe it’s celebrating with friends and family in a micro-wedding beside a peaceful pond as the sun begins to set. Or maybe it’s the blowout event you’ve been dreaming of. At Cloud 9 Farm, there’s room to breathe, giggle with giddiness, and enjoy every bit of it.
A Wedding That Feels Like You
At Cloud 9, you can choose the spaces that work best for your day. A brand new wedding pavilion and dedicated reception area next to Peterson Pond offer a place to gather, dine, and celebrate while surrounded by the beauty of the farm.
For your ceremony, the gazebo overlooks the pond and a small waterfall, or you can exchange vows beneath the trees at the Cathedral in the Woods. The Cathedral stays cool during the heat of summer and is oriented to align with earth energies: North, South, East, and West. You can’t deny that you feel it. From there, it’s a short walk across a mountain laurel-lined bridge and through the blueberry patch to the pavilion area for the reception.
With new on-site restrooms nearby, everything you and your guests need is right here on the property.
Surrounded by the Beauty of Western North Carolina
The property features rolling farmland, woodland trails, a swimming pond, and a blueberry patch. Located just 20 minutes southeast of Asheville, you’ll get the peaceful feeling of being in the countryside while remaining an easy drive from hotels, restaurants, and local attractions like the Biltmore Estate and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.
A Place Where Guests Can Relax
Four vacation rentals are tucked out of sight on the mountaintop where you and your guests can stay, giving you the option to turn your wedding day into a weekend together.
With the whole farm to yourselves, family and friends can spend more time together before and after the wedding and enjoy Cloud 9 Relaxation Home as “headquarters” for the weekend.
Guests can stroll the grounds, play a round of croquet or horseshoes, gather around the fire pit, or finally get to try forest bathing along the nature trails that abound.
A Beautiful Backdrop for Wedding Photos
Have your cameras ready. With woods, water, mountain views, blueberry fields, and open meadows all in one place, there’s no shortage of spots for wedding photos. Did we mention cows? Feeding the cows apples makes for a great photo shoot.
Then there’s the dock at Peterson Pond. Stand together on the dock with the pavilion reflected in the water behind you, and you’ve got a photo that just might give those famous Biltmore Estate pond shots a run for their money.
Come See It for Yourself
As soon as you take a tour and experience the farm, you’ll know pretty quickly if it feels like the right fit.
